A downloadable game for Windows

This is Overwatch 2D, just a little project ive started.

# AI disclaimer

Most of the work is done by me. AI was used to help in making the network code for LAN Multiplayer, and for making the filesystem, and some graphics. Everything else, the physics, the interactions is coded by me. All of the ideas are from Overwatch, with some differences to make up for the lack of vertical movement

In this 2D Hero Shooter, you get to play in a 6v6 environment, versing bots, other players or both at the same time. All Ideas for character and map designs, and fundamental game design are taken from Overwatch.

Currently there are 3 tanks (Roadhog, Orisa, Reinhardt) 2 DPS (Soldier 76, Pharah) and 2 Supports (Lucio, Brigitte)

They all have unique abilities similar to their 3D counter parts, Ultimates, and close colour palette.

The game features specific hero passives and in-game modifiers.

(if you know anything about overwatch youll understand this, otherwise you can ignore this) This game is based off of overwatch 1, not 2. So good old stuns are back, no passive regen, older healthpools etc.

All the Overwatch 1 Heroes will eventually be added, and preferably all the gamemodes and maps that try to be as similar as possible to their 3D counterpart.

After that, I will try to make multiplayer not just over LAN, but for now if you want to play with friends online you can use RADMIN.

In Multiplayer, you load whatever map the host has, so a host can make their own map and players can play it. I also don't have any sort of version limiter or anything, so I don't really know what happens if you have two different versions and try to play. I recommend ensuring you have the right version and just playing with your friends.
